The bite away works with a
distribution voltage ranging
between 2.3 to 3.6 V. So you
may use batteries as well as
accumulators of the AA format.
Dependent on the battery type
or accumulators, at least 100
applications are possible.
Principally two treatment times
can be chosen. After starting
the run-off control by means
of one of the two start buttons,
the pre-heating phase is
started. As soon as the
nominal temperature has
been reached after
a time of less than

10 seconds, the run-off control
will determine the range of the
constant temperature according
to the time interval chosen. If the
temperature will not be reached
after 10 seconds, the “low
battery” condition will be
indicated by a triple flashing of
the LED and three acoustic
signals (0.5 seconds duration;
0.5 seconds break.
